Hello! I'm Alexandra.
My professional journey began in the world of fashion. For many years, I had the privilege of working as a fashion designer for renowned companies in Berlin. Over time, my desire grew to make my own style visible – a vision that allows space for personality, quality, and emotion, for small details that touch the heart.
In 2009, I took the plunge into self-employment. Two years later, my son was born – and with him, a new, deeper perspective on the world opened up to me, from a mother's point of view: gentle, conscious, and full of warmth, with boundless love for this little person. From that moment on, my passion for design and my experiences as a mother have been inextricably linked to my baby collection. Every design carries a piece of this quiet, mindful magic within it.
In 2018, I discovered my love for family photography. As a baby photographer, I am privileged to witness countless quiet, precious moments: when a newborn lies nestled in familiar arms, when everything revolves around closeness, security, and love. This delicate magic inherent in such moments touches me anew each time – and this very feeling flows into every one of my designs.
Every garment is created with the desire to make something lasting – a small, precious memento of a very special time. I am guided by the needs of parents and their babies: by the deep connection, loving closeness, and quiet beauty inherent in parenthood. I want to make all of this visible and tangible in my collections – for touching, feeling, and remembering.

Cucoonu is my passion project – a baby label that combines beauty, quality and feeling.
I know from personal experience how emotional the first few months with a baby are. How much we want everything to be beautiful – real, precious, perfect, and unforgettable.
My designs and first prototypes are created in my studio – inspired by my work with babies, my love for detail and my desire to give parents something special.
All fabrics and accessories are carefully selected.
My designs are delicate, timeless, and lovingly crafted down to the smallest detail.
With Cucoonu, I want to create something that is more than just beautiful clothing: something that touches the heart, accompanies the child, and becomes part of a family's memories. That's why I combine aesthetics with functionality in every design – for festive baby clothes that are both enchanting and thoughtfully designed.

Our story begins in Erfurt – a city full of charm, history, and endearing quirks. Between the cathedral, the Merchants' Bridge, and verdant gardens, you'll encounter it everywhere: the broad bean. In Erfurt, it's considered a small symbol of new beginnings, growth, prosperity, happiness, and joie de vivre.
The birth of my son not only marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, but also the story of my baby collection – back then still under the name Happy BaBee Manufactory. The little bean quickly became a symbol for me: delicate, unassuming, yet full of potential. Just as something new grows from it, the birth of a baby marks a very special beginning – full of love, curiosity, and little miracles.
